So, you want to know more about the brands I carry, the ethics behind them, and what that means for you as a consumer.
Here at The Strawberry Finch, you can be sure that the brands I choose are of good quality and made ethically.
In fact, I work with a company that sends a team of experts to each factory for each brand that I work with. That teams verifies that the employees have safe, ethical working conditions. This team also visits the factories multiple times to ensure that those conditions are kept in place.
One brand I carry is called Zenana. Zenana is known for their sustainable materials and affordable prices. In other words, their designs are NOT fast fashion. They will keep for years to come! If you have never heard of fast fashion, I’ll give you a quick run-down.
Fast fashion a term that is typically used to describe most clothing brands that focus on quick turnarounds and trends. Cheap quality and poor working conditions are often associated with fast fashion. I take care to carry brands with a good reputation for sustainable and ethical practices. I like to curate pieces that are timeless, as well as more on-trend items. This means you won’t be throwing things out of your closet every year. Instead, you’ll be using them over and over!
I also work with a lot of other small businesses that make their items by hand! This includes our jewelry, headhugs, and beauty and bath items. These goods are made in small batches, by hand, right here in the USA!
